Frequently asked questions

Is my financial data uploaded to any server?

No. Every calculation, PDF and XML file is produced inside your browser tab with JavaScript and WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged — the tool also keeps working offline.

When does reverse charge apply?

For B2B services between VAT-registered businesses in two different EU member states the customer accounts for the VAT. The invoice shows 0% plus a reverse-charge note.

Is the tool really free to use?

Yes. The calculators, the invoice studio and the e-invoice tools are free to use, with no account and no watermark. The free plan has fair-use limits. Optional paid plans add higher limits and features such as customer management, reminders and bookkeeping.

What is the One-Stop-Shop (OSS)?

For sales to consumers in other EU countries above EUR 10,000 a year, the customer's VAT rate applies. OSS lets you report that VAT in one quarterly return at home instead of registering in each country.
