Frequently asked questions

Is my financial data uploaded to any server?

No. Every calculation, PDF and XML file is produced inside your browser tab with JavaScript and WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged — the tool also keeps working offline.

Can I model extra repayments?

Yes. Add an extra monthly payment and the schedule recalculates the remaining balance, interest saved and shortened term instantly.

Is the tool really free to use?

Yes. The calculators, the invoice studio and the e-invoice tools are free to use, with no account and no watermark. The free plan has fair-use limits. Optional paid plans add higher limits and features such as customer management, reminders and bookkeeping.

Does this match my bank's offer?

Close, but banks may add fees, use a fixed-rate period shorter than the term, or allow extra payments only once a year. Use the result to compare offers and ask your bank for the binding schedule.

What about the fixed-rate period?

In Germany most loans fix the rate for 5 to 20 years, often shorter than the full term. Whatever is still owed at the end must be refinanced at the rate of that time, so check the remaining balance for that year in the schedule.

Can I use it for a car loan or personal loan?

Yes. It works for any loan with a fixed interest rate and equal monthly payments, so car loans, personal loans and other instalment credit as well as mortgages. Fees and insurance the lender adds are not included.
